5Oh my!! Those look awesome!!
6i cant stop eatign whoopie pies... little devil pies.... my ass is not happy with my having this recipe
7Yes, that's pretty consistent with Whoopie pies, it's also normal for twinkies and the like.
8i am gonna make a snack size version of these for the house warming/ new years party. but i am limiting myself, because i would seriously eat them all until i got sick or 500lbs
9vinegar is the interesting item to me. Never knew that was in a whoopi pie.
10Vinegar sounded interesting to me too...I will be trying this recipe very very soon.
11Vinegar is a key ingredient in Red Velvet cakes, I think. So is there anything you can use in place of Crisco?
12You could buy a jar of marshmallow Fluff in place of the filling...But it's not that much better for you.
13I can't get crisco or fluff where I live.
14Crisco is just vegetable shorting, no luck? Butter would probably change the taste and color but it might work
15here's another recipe for the
Filling:
2-3/4 cups powder sugar
161/4 cup half and half cream
1/4 tsp. salt
i have got to try this!!!!
17I think I'm going to make these for Thanksgiving - how perfect is that?
